Learning Goal: I’m working on a english question and need a sample draft to help me learn.The introduction should:Include a summary of one source (about 5-7 sentences) to work as an introduction to your essay topic. Who wrote it? What are 3 or 4 of their main points? i.e. what are they trying to tell students?
End with your thesis.Your thesis should respond to both of the prompt questions and be specific.
Your thesis should include personal pronouns (“I,” “me,” “my,” etc.) since this essay is about you.

Your 3-4 body paragraphs should focus on answering the 2 prompt questions and proving your thesis.Each of your body paragraphs should:Start with a topic sentence (i.e., the main point of your paragraph that responds to one or both prompt questions).
Include 2 main types of evidence:Specific details about yourself (e.g., your tendencies and habits, your experiences as a learner, your experiences online learning, etc.) and
Cited ideas from the assigned source(s) that relate to your experiences and the point of the paragraph.
Explain how your evidence proves your point and why the evidence and/or your point is important (i.e., analyze your evidence).
Thesis template :
This semester, I think (challenge #1), (challenge #2), and (challenge #3) may be difficult for me; however, I can address these by (solution #1), (solution #2), and (solution #3).
Although I may face (challenge #1) and (challenge #2) this semester, I plan to (solution #1) and (solution #2) to help me succeed in my classes.
Length requirement: 5-6 paragraphs (~3 pages, 750 words)
You must use cited ideas from at least 1 of the assigned sources:

You should use cited evidence from the assigned source(s) in each body paragraph.
You may NOT use any other sources (no Googling).
