Learning Goal: I’m working on a information technology project and need support

Learning Goal: I’m working on a information technology project and need support to help me learn.PART 1: There may not be a straightforward way to submit some performance-based artifacts from the Information Technologies program to an e-portfolio. For example, you may have created a computer software program. You could submit the code you wrote, but that may not be the best way to demonstrate what the code does. Another option would be to create a video capture of the program as it runs, with the code as an attachment.Additionally, you may want to spice up your portfolio by demonstrating the artifacts in creative ways using technology. This is your opportunity to brainstorm ideas. In your post, describe creative ways to demonstrate a specific performance-based information technology artifact.Once you have completed your initial post, respond to at least two of your classmates’ posts. In your responses, objectively evaluate their chosen methods of demonstrating the performance-based artifacts. What did you like about their ideas? What suggestions would you offer?PART 2: For the final project in this course, you must demonstrate proficiency in all of the program/course outcomes. You will do so by creating an e-portfolio that contains performance-based artifacts that demonstrate the achievement of each course outcome. For this assignment, fill in the table provided (Performance Based Artifacts Table) with the artifact you think best demonstrates a given course outcome. Select artifacts/exemplars that demonstrate your proficiency with the knowledge, skills, abilities, or dispositions described in each course outcome. These artifacts can come from the courses in this program, work experience, re-creations of tasks in other situations, and other experiences that you feel demonstrate your ability to meet the course outcomes. A large project can be used for more than one outcome. However, in this table you must be specific about how you will highlight the area of the project that meets the identified outcome. In this assignment, you will demonstrate your mastery of the following program/course outcomes:
 Analyze a complex computing problem and apply principles of computing and other relevant disciplines to identify solutions
 Design, implement, and evaluate a computing-based solution to meet a given set of computing requirements in the context of the program’s discipline
 Communicate effectively in a variety of professional contexts
 Recognize professional responsibilities and make informed judgments in computing practice based on legal and ethical principles
 Function effectively as a member or leader of a team engaged in activities appropriate to the program’s discipline
 Identify and analyze user needs and to take them into account in the selection, creation, integration, evaluation, and administration of computing based
systems
Prompt
You will submit an internet-based professional portfolio that includes:
I. Artifacts: Select artifacts/exemplars that demonstrate your proficiency with the knowledge, skills, abilities, or dispositions described in each
program/course outcome. These artifacts can come from the courses in this program, work experience, recreations of tasks in other situations, and other
experiences that you feel demonstrate your ability to meet the outcomes.
II. Reflections
a) Briefly describe each artifact you have chosen. What is the item? When was it created? What was the original purpose of the item?
b) Justify how the artifact demonstrates that you have met the outcome. What knowledge, skills, dispositions, or abilities did you need to
demonstrate competency in when creating this artifact? Why did you select this item? What specific components of the artifact showcase the
skills you are referring to?
c) What did you learn as you were creating the artifact? What challenges were you faced with when using these skills? Would you do anything
differently if you were asked to recreate this artifact? How did this item set you up for success in the real world?
III. Professional Statement: Articulate the skills from the outcomes and reflection into a professional statement. This statement should be formed as the
advertisement for potential employers that gives them specific reasons to hire you. What skills do you have? Where will these skills be showcased in your
résumé? How will these skills add to your overall qualifications and/or technical skills?
Your work is expected to meet the highest professional standards. Remember, you are selling yourself as much as you are selling your ideas.Write a short justification of why you think this artifact demonstrates the associated course outcome. To complete this assignment, review the following documents:Final Project Guidelines and RubricArtifact Table GuidelinesPerformance Based Artifacts Table Excel file.In these documents, example artifacts from the undergraduate Information Technologies program are provided.
